FLYNN, JR., CHARLES (RUSTY) RUSSELL, 56. Our brother, uncle and friend left this earth on Monday, December 18, 2006. Rusty was an "Orlando Native", growing up in College Park. He was born on October 12, 1950. He attended Princeton Elementary, Robert E. Lee Jr. High and Edgewater High School. As a young man he began his career in photography which became his passion and love. At the time of his death he owned a company called Digital Dude Ranch and was known to his friends as "Rusty -The Dude". His early career began with Video Sonics and Image Photo Graphics in Orlando, followed by Nikon of New York. After teaching for Nikon and traveling across the Northeast, Rusty returned to Orlando and started his own company,
Wiley & Flynn. After 30 years he found the photography industry changing so he left the analog photo frontier and proceed into the digital world. He specialized in panoramic and 360 imaging using for the Web, Multimedia, and print. He had many clients which turned into friends across the country. Rusty will be remembered in the digital world for his creativity, talent and broad knowledge of the electronic world. His family and friends will remember him for the love he had for his golden retriever "Goldie", fishing at Sebastian Inlet, motorcycle rides in the hills of North Georgia and North Carolina. The trip he made in the "Aqua VW Van" photographing the USA from East to West and sharing the adventure by e-mail so we all felt like we were on the trip. As the holidays pass his family and friends will miss the Christmas visits to help with all the new electronic gadgets. His smile, generosity, love and helping hand to his family and friends will be dearly missed. Rusty was preceded in death by his father, mother and his two
devoted retrievers, Alex and Bailey. He is survived by three sisters, Linda Belbeck, Karen Anderson, Julie Klimentz; two nephews and nieces; Kevin, Chad, Christie and Jill; aunt June Flynn and his devoted friend Goldie. Please share your memories of our friend on rasterguy@mac.com and enjoy his photo legacy on www.digitalduderanch.net. Memorial Service will be held January 4, 2007 at Baldwin Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel, 4PM. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the American Heart Assoc. of Orlando, 237 Marks St., Orlando 32803 in the name of Charles "Rusty" Flynn.
