ZEMLA, ELIZABETH W. Born in Akron, OH on December 30, 1915, "Betty" passed away at the age of 94 after a wonderful life of travel and adventure. Raised in Firestone Park, Betty met and married
Joseph Zemla and had two daughters, Judy Morgan and Christine Smith. The whole family moved to Java, Indonesia in 1953 with the Goodyear International work force. She also lived in New Delhi, India, Peru, Thailand and finally settled in Freeport, IL and Clermont, FL.
Elizabeth learned to play championship golf and became a crack bridge player, both of which she continued throughout her life. Betty is survived by her daughter,
Christine; four grandchildren, Randy Collins, Dawn Morgan, Brett Morgan and Kelly Smith and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph and daughter Judy. "Queen
Elizabeth" loved life and was an awesome teller of jokes and will be missed royally.
