BEECHY, entered God's eternal embrace September 11, 2011 at 50 years old. Karen was born August 16, 1961 to father William Beechy, who preceded her in death and her loving mother, Rosemary Beechy, who predeceased her on February 28, 2011. Karen is survived by husband, Jeff Hawkins, her true love and best friend in life; daughter
Angela Moran and son-in-law, Keith Moran of Sanford. Karen is also survived by a brother, Michael H. Beechy of Ocoee; and two sisters, Carol Belzer of Minneola and
Sandra Thompson of Spring Hill. Karen leaves behind her four beloved grandchildren, Zachary, Hali, James "Tyler" and Samantha "Little Karen", who were her most treasured accomplishments. Karen will always be remembered for the adventurous, happy, outgoing woman who was afraid of nothing and fought for everything. She was happy to spend time with her family and be outdoors, from spending all day on the beach in the Florida Keys to fishing in Alaska. Karen's life will be celebrated on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 3 PM in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
