Notice Condolences

GOLDING, ELEANORE
KATHRYN MICHALAK, of Orlando, went to her Eternal Home on October 24, 2012. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 29, 1920. She was preceded in death this past May by her husband of 69 years, Ralph V. Golding. Eleanore and Ralph met in the SOC hiking club in Chicago, a group that boasted many marriage matches. Eleanore was a retired secretary and office manager, the last position was at her home church. After retirement the Goldings enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and ElderHostel locations. Her other interests included gardening and singing. She was an avid member of Young at Heart chorus at Rollins College and the choir at St. Mary of the Angels Church. Her life was marked by service to others in the community. These activities included volunteering for Scouts, Gray Ladies, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, and PTA and related activities at her children's schools.
Eleanore is survived by children: Mary J. (William) Peoples, Pete, Lisbeth Moore, Jane (Arthur)
Bullock, and Jeff (Sami); five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by sister, Mildred. The Goldings were active members of St. Mary of the Angels Episcopal Church since 1961. A memorial service celebrating Eleanore's life will be held there on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at 3 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Angels Episcopal Church or your favorite breast cancer organization in honor of
