WALTER E. FISH Jr. Notice
FISH JR., WALTER E. Walter E. Fish, Jr., 89, a true American, passed away on January 4, 2013, in Clearwater, Florida. Born in New Jersey, on October 30, 1923. Walt was a third generation florist. He was a hero who served his country in World War II, a County Freeholder, Sheriff, and volunteer fireman. Walt was an active Rotarian, member of the Masonic Lodge and the United Methodist Church. After retirement, he moved to Orlando and worked on the Walt Disney World golf courses for 17 years. Walt was a true humanitarian, a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He was married and had four children with the late Elizabeth Fish, and is predeceased by his second wife, the late Frances (Pat) Fish. Walt is survived by his wife, Betty, children Roy (Judy), Russ, Ruth, and Ron (Reed), and grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer (Dan), Andrea, Donnie and Nick. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, in Orlando, at 11:00 on Sat., January 12th. A second service will be held in NJ.
