Lee, Edmond M.EDMr. Edmond "Ed" M. Lee of Orlando, Florida passed away on August 16, 2013. He was born in 1943 in Hanover, New Jersey, but soon moved to Orlando, where he was a lifelong resident. Ed was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Ed served for and retired from the Orlando Fire Department. Ed's true passion was playing and coaching softball in the local community and nationwide. He managed and played on four teams and never missed a game. He was also passionate about the dog track, Bingo, and dancing. Ed spent countless hours volunteering for the Moose and Eagles lodges, and was also a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He is survived by his life partner, Sue Johnston; and son, James Curtis "Casey" Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Curtis Lee. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 5-8pm at the Baldwin-Fairchild Lake Ivanhoe Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:30am at the 1st Baptist Church of Orlando in the Henry Chapel at 3000 S. John Young Pkwy Orlando, FL with interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Moose Lodge at 5001 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32810.
