Boyd "Gene" Baugh Notice
Baugh, Boyd Gene83 passed away January 24, 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Gene is survived by his spouse Rita Herrin, his daughter Pam Quick, grandchildren Jason Quick and Samantha Quick Miles along with his step children Laurel Herrin Hallman, Frank Herrin, and David Herrin and 4 step-grandchildren. Gene was born in Drakesboro, KY and had 6 siblings. He enlisted in the Army where he earned the rank of Command Sergeant Major and retired in 1969 after serving in Vietnam. He made a home in Orlando with his first wife and young daughter in 1969. He became a life long resident of Orlando and retired from the Orlando Police Department after 19 years of service as a Crime Scene Technician. Gene and Rita had 30 wonderful years of travel, family and friends together. A viewing will be held at Baldwin Fairchild E. Altamonte Springs at 1 p.m. Jan. 31st with a service at 2:00. Immediately following the service will be a celebration of life at the German American Club in Casselberry. Donations in lieu of flowers to www.WoundedWarriorProject.org.
