Tyson, Douglas Douglas Karl Tyson, 67, of Longwood, Florida passed away peacefully with family and friends at bedside 8/16/2014. A true fighter until the very end. So blessed to be surrounded and loved by so many. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on August 30th, 2014 at the Collison Funeral Home in Winter Park, FL at 12 noon. 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792 (407) 678-4500. Douglas was a "True Texan". He was born in Fort Worth, TX on July 12th, 1947. He graduated from Texas Christian University and Received a Bachelor's Degree and a Master Degree in Liberal Arts and Law. Douglas worked as the President of Tyson & Associates P.A. He was a member of the American Bar Association as well as NCMA. Doug was a veteran having served in the Air Force with the rank of E-4 Sergeant / Senior Airman from April 1967 - November 1970. He served 1 tour in Vietnam and 1 tour in Thailand. He thoroughly enjoyed cooking, music (of all genres) and entertaining at their home. Most of all Doug enjoyed spending the quality time with his beautiful wife Laura Lee Taylor Tyson. Always "Best Friends", "Soul Mates", and "Truest of Loves". Douglas was married to his wonderful wife, Laura Lee Taylor Tyson on August 21st, 1998. They were inseparable¿ sometimes being accused of being joined at the hip. But if you witnessed it first hand, you saw the truest of loves, a love envied, a love whole heartedly cherished, and shared between this amazing man and his loving Bride. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Clarence H.Tyson, his Father-in-Law, John R.Taylor, and his Brother-in-Law John Leslie Taylor II. Douglas is survived by his Loving Wife, Laura Lee Taylor Tyson, his Mother Frances Caroline Tyson, his Mother-in-Law, Mary Jane Taylor, and nephews Jeffrey Lee Taylor and John Leslie Taylor III.
