Pat and I were friends from the very beginning. We both sold on the line together for the original Westgate Vacation Villas. We both moved into the Training, Recruiting and Development department together, and there began our wonderful relationship. I was the young rookie, and he took me under his wing becoming my mentor and best friend. He and Janey opened their hearts and their home to me, and I can honestly say my love for the "oldies but goodies" came from the countless old black & white films we watched together. He was my father-figure and my hero. I will forever be grateful for his love & friendship, for his knowledge, training & guidance that have lasted me still to this day, and for the respect & honour I will always have for him for positively affecting the lives of so, so many others. I know he is up there free of any pain & suffering, and serenading the angels with his beautiful voice. May his legacy live on in the hearts & minds of us all - R.I.P.

I haven't seen Pat in many years,I was in an auto accident where I lost a great deal of memory an it has taken some time to come back.I am currently in school and learning about carrier development and how to sell yourself, the first person I thought of was Pat. No one knows better how to sell than Pat Leiby he tought me everything I know about selling.I was looking him up online when I learned about his passing my condolences to his family he was a great man and a good friend one of the few people I remember after my accident I will be missed greatly.

Pat was a good man and a true friend. He had a helping had for everyone. We know that he is finally at rest after his harrowing ordeal with Parkinson's. God bless him and all our love to Janie and the rest of his family.

I feel so blessed to have had this man in my life as a teacher, mentor and true friend and father figure. We laughed together so many times and he was my biggest supporter and had my back every single step of the way in a professional management environment that was predominantly male. I learned everything I know about sales from this extraordinary man and will be forever grateful and honored to have called him my friend...

I am so sorry for the deep loss you are experiencing. I have fond memories of the Pat Leiby from the 70s as he interacted skillfully with seven teenage and young adult offspring. He was truly a kind and caring man who led a remarkable life and left a legacy of kind and caring children and grandchildren. Thinking of you all.
