Byron Mabe Obituary

Memorial service for Byron E. Mabe of Orlando, will be held Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Maitland Art Center at 4PM. Mabe was an Air Force Veteran, Screen Actors Guild member, a loving father, step-father, father-in-law and loyal friend. He is survived by: daughter, Leigh A. Hart & son-in-law Jim Hart of Casselberry; son, Casey of Orlando; step-son, Jason Sharkey of NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Comforter, 595 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs, FL.

I was the ingenue in Mystic Mountain Massacre...I got the role because of Ray Danton. I loved Byron Mabe As a director. I was so new! He was very special. He was married to Kathy, at that time. So sad he´s left us! Sondra Currie

If this my friend and Actor Bryon Mabe....I send my condolence to his wife and daughter...we met him in Biloxi thru a cousin of his at Kessler Air Force Base about 1970...and met up with again in Fountain Valley Ca.. my children loved him...my ex Bob Hippler was station at El Sugundo Air Force SAC Base.. We visited him and Kathy in Los Angeles at their home also.....kept up with them for years and then lost touch.....Bob divorced me in 1981 in Houston Tx.. I beverly still live there..now married to Vincent Firrello....Bob is in Fl.... we really enjoyed their company....and loved TheDoberman Gang....SoSad to hear of his passing...our love to his family....Rest with the Angels my friend........
