Marian Quick Memoriam
A kind resident of "primarily" Osceola County since 1962, she was one of seven daughters and five sons of the late, Mr. & Mrs. James R. Klinger.
Marian was a Machinist Factory Worker most of her employed years. She loved to go camping, boating, fishing, playing bingo, and various card and board games. She was devoted to her family and friends always.
Marian was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor, "if you knew her you SO loved her too." She was also faithful to her church and thankful the Lord, Jesus Christ for saving her soul. She read her beloved KJV Bible cover to cover 5 years in a row, yearning a closer relationship with God and his Son. Marian loved going to Gospel Sings and sang also on occasion with family. Enjoying several crafts, making jewelry, painting, teeshirts, crocheting, and making things out of plastic canvas. Her "best craft" was her homemade cooking, especially her banana pudding.
Marian was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers, two nieces, one great niece, two grandsons and two nephews.
Her survivors include a son; Rodney Gibbons (Teresa), a daughter; Lori Cooley (Don), all of Intercession City. A sister; Jeanette Campbell of Campbell City and a brother; Kenneth Klinger of St. Cloud. Plus six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, her friends and neighbors.
Marian was a 20 year member of the Ladies Group at Church, "The Beacons", and a three year member of the funfilled Senior Ladies Group, "The Happy Hens".
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at The Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1664 Shepherd Lane, Intercession City, FL 33848. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. until service. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Alan Holley officiating.
Marian will be missed dearly and loved by many. "If you knew her or she was apart of your life - You were SO Blessed".
The Family is being cared for by Osceola Memory Gardens. Flowers will be received at the Church.
