CODE, Ronald M. "BUZZER" (Flying Officer, R.C.A.F. '39 -'45 #50 SQDN, Lancasters, POW) Peacefully at home, April 24th in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Brunet. Predeceased by parents Ida and Mervyn, sister Eleanor, brothers, Edwin (Catherine), Charles (Mary) and Bill (Nora). Survived by his devoted wife, Rita Capello (nee Aubin), son JA, stepdaughter Deborah (Michael) and stepson Steven (Cheryl). Loving grand father and Pappa to Christine, Mary, Lisa, Michel and his angels Madison and Robyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Remembered by many friends and colleagues from his career at Ottawa Gas (Enbridge/Consumers Gas). Life member Royal Canadian Legion where he served as President at Perth Branch (#244) and District Commander (Zone G-5). MSM with Palm Leaf to Meritorious Service Medal. Special thanks to Dr. Ed Rose, Dr. Lise Aldridge, Natasha and staff from CareFor. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Pkwy), Ottawa, on Friday, April 30 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm to include a Legion Service. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Columba Anglican Church, 24 Sandridge Rd., (St. Laurent Blvd North, near R.C.M.P. Campus), Ottawa on Saturday, May 1 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make a donation to Montgomery Branch RCL #351 and/or St. Columba Anglican Church. Committal in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, at a date to be announced.

Dear Rita & Family,
It is with deep sadness in hearing of the passing of Ron.
I worked with Ron for many years and truly found him to be an inspiration and a great friend, both from a career and personal perspective.
I will miss him dearly.
