GAGNON, Anita (née Saumure)
January 16, 1930 - February 12, 2013
Peacefully at Montfort Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on February 12, 2013, at the age of 83. Daughter to the late Oscar Saumure and the late Elizabeth Lortie. Beloved wife of Gaston Gagnon. Devoted mother of Michel (Louise), Normand (Tess), Agathe (Jacques), Juliette (Michel), Marthe (the late Denis), Léo (Suzanne), Hélène (Jocelyn), and Charles (Jo-Anne). Also survived by seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, a dear niece Lucie Ethier, two brothers, Robert (Rita), René (Rita), three sisters Alice (the late Denis), Georgette (the late Viateur, Robert), Laurence (the late André) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by ten brothers and sisters. Family and friends are invited at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp, 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 6 to 10 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Notre- Dame-de-Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa, on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Donations to the Auxiliaries of the Centre d'Accueil Champlain would be appreciated.
