Suddenly at his residence in Pembroke on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in his 85th year. Arnold O'Kane of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Celine O'Kane (nee Lyons). Loved and cherished father of Karen Roosen (Bernie), Petawawa, Margaret Dickerson (Fred), Michael O'Kane (Cindy) both of Pembroke and Maureen Harrington (Tom), Ottawa. Loving grandfather to Jason (Shannon Robinson), Lindsay (Jason North), Kaley, Jacob (Pamela Hebert), Matthew (Megan Jamieson), Kyle, and Adam and great-grandchildren Benat, Maquinn, Patrick, Saige and Rae. Dear brother Bernadette Forester (late Dennis), Marguerite McIntyre (Desmond), Kevin O'Kane (late Olive) and Marcia Anne Timm. Predeceased by his sisters Jean Sinclair (late Carl), Catherine Wren and Helen Bolger (late Harold). Brother- in-law of Kevin Wren and Vince Doris (Anita). Arnold will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Arnold with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning January 5, at 11 o'clock in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdesview Drive, Pembroke. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery.
