Reginald FALLS

FALLS, Reginald John
Reg died suddenly, but peacefully at his 'winter home', Prince of Wales Manor on Tuesday, December 28, 2012. Reg was the last of the Falls family who for years lived in their family home on Main St., Manotick. He was predeceased by his parents John and Dora and his sister Evelyn. He lived his entire life in Manotick, save for the war years when he was a member of the Canadian Army. At wars end he joined the Federal Public Service, serving with care and distinction until his retirement. His Manotick family included many of the other bachelors who met almost daily to solve the problems of the world, and brought a smile and happiness to anyone who cared to join in the discussions. Special thanks to Karen and Wayne McRae who for years have assisted Reg with being able to live an independent, and full life. He was 87 years old at his death. He is survived by a niece Dianne Bradlow and a nephew John Bradlow and his family. Visitation will take place at his church, Manotick United on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment Rideauvale Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to Miller's Oven, Manotick or Manotick United Church would be suggested. Tributes, donations or condolences may be made at
