ARBUCKLE, Major Robert Stuart Bremner 'Bob'
Passed away surrounded by love on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in his 87th year. He joined his wife, May Scott and his siblings, Elsie, Dot, and Buck. Marion is still carrying on strong. Bob joined the Air Cadets when he was only 15 years old to serve the country he very much loved. He then went on to join the Air Force and continued up the ranks till he became a Major. He retired in 1978 after serving 38 years, quite an unusual feat. After retiring he went to work with the Government of Canada as a Director at DND, where he served for 16 years.
The Masons played a large part of his life as he served two terms as Grand Master of The Bytown Lodge.
Every summer you would find Bob and May at their cottage, Slope oaks, on Devil Lake in Westport, Ontario.
