Dear Kathleen and family
I had the pleasure of meeting Daphne in the fall of this past year. We met on a professional level when she requested some assistance in liquidating some of her assets. We visited a few times and I truly enjoyed meeting her and helping her with her treasures. I found her very interesting and very personable. Daphne spoke of you often, Kathleen, and it was very clear to me how much she loved you. I hope the pain and sorrow of your loss are short lived and that the fond and happy memories last forever.
Warmest Regards

It is hard to write something about a friend of so many years who I am already missing so much. Kat, you have my condolences I know you too will miss Daphne so very much.
Daphne was a good friend in mild youthful adventures such as getting to the island in the Rideau River under the bridge, who grew to be a very good friend in more serious situations. She always thought about her actions and tried to design a life of giving of herself but also of some pleasure such as theatre, music and art appreciation that she shared with others.

To Kathleen and family,
Please accept my deepest condoleances. This is indeed very sad news for all of us who knew and loved her in this community. She was a very sweet, kind and courageous woman who inspired others. She made use of every moment she had in this Life. Carpe diem (Seize the day) could have well have been her personal motto. She loved her Life, her countless and treasured friends and flowers and music! To the end, she was always learning and really participated fully in Life. All of us who knew her were deeply Blessed! May Daphne now rejoice in her Home in Heaven. We will all deeply miss her.We Thank God that she had Blessed us with her Presence in our lives.
With great Love and Remembrance,
Dr.Denis Caro
