Hans, Hans, Hans...
How can it be that you've been gone a year already?
In my mind, I can still hear your laugh, I can still sense/feel your zest for life; it's surreal to me that you are no longer 'with' us. On some level, I still can't believe it.
I toasted your memory tonight... had every intention of drinking a chocolate martini, but in the end, I couldn't bring myself to do it, and settled on a shot of Irish whiskey instead.
My thoughts go out to Phil, and the rest of your family tonight... these anniversaries can be especially hard.

Phil,
There is not a day that I don't think of your, our, dear Hans. She was everyone's Hans. I see and feel her soul in nature all around me. God we will her physical hugs and hearing her beautiful laughter. But she has become my guardian angel and I ask her for her quidance every day with our human challenges. Every one who dies leaves an imprint in the loved ones losses. But Hans has left A HUGE IMPRINT IN OUR LIVES ABD HEARTS. She will never be forgotten. Special sympathies go out to Phil her husband who loved Hans so much and was so good to his wife; and to Hans dear mother.
Keeping you all in our prayers everyday.
In every cardinal, sunrise or sunset I feel Hans close by us all.
Love forever,
The Costigan family ( Madeline, Brian, Tammie and Paul from Montreal).

I met Hans at work. It didn't take long to build a friendship, one of trust, respect and fun. She was a great coach and we had so much fun and shared so much laughter. She was a wonderful person. I am a better person and a better process analyst because of Hans. Thank you for being there when I needed someone for guidance. You will be missed.

I first met Hans and Phil in 1991 at Rockwood and both Sue and I enjoyed keeping up with both over the years. She lived a full life, had a beautiful laugh and will be missed by many.

Hans and I met in a professional context but it didn't take long for us to become friends. While we met for coffee/dinner only a few times a year, it felt like no time passed between those events. She was a beautiful person, intelligent and creative. My condolences go out to her family and friends. I'm saddened to know that the world is now missing one of the best. I will miss you always Hans.

I got to know Hans from the IIBA Ottawa chapter meetings. She always spoke with such passion and her laugh was awesome! Hans was at the top of her profession with the added bonus of being a wonderful human being.

Hans will forever be in my memories as a child. She was the best babysitter around! Always so much fun and she had the best laugh! I'm so glad I was able to remain friends with her all these years later. Phil, you and Hans complimented each other so well and built such a wonderful life. My deepest sympathies to you and all the family. She will be in our hearts forever.

Andrew and I enjoyed the times we visited with Susan and Jim Bridgeman and family and where we had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Hans. We are very sorry to learn that she was so ill and that her life has ended far too soon. I especially remember seeing a photo of Hans with a snowflake on her nose that was posted on Facebook. It showed how she delighted in winter here in Ottawa, Canada. Andrew and I send sincere condolences to all of her beloved family.
