Christopher MILLERWOOD Obituary
After a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the age of 46 years. Beloved husband of Heather (nee Stanton). Loving father of Austin and Allan. Dear son of Carol and the late Tony Millerwood and brother of Cynthia (Jim Mullins). Son-in-law to Allan and Letitia Stanton and brother-in-law to Pat (deceased) (Louise), Brian, Connie (Leo Guay), Shelley (Dale Farrell), Lynn (Nas Mohamed), and Mark (Sheri). Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre or the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre. Heather, Austin and Allan. So sad to have lost a husband and Dad at such a young age. Some of my fondest memories from long ago are all the ball games and tournaments we played in. Peter has many great memories also from Earl of March days and broomball!! Also enjoyed our times spent at fhe cottage with our kids. Chris was very lucky to have such a wonderful family for support through his journey. God bless and know that we will be there to support you and the boys.
