I always your remember your Dad driving your station wagon with a carload of kids throughout the neighbourhood. He seemed to be totally in his element with his brood all around him. I also recall your dad teaching jam-can curling at fisher park on very cold Saturday mornings ...outdoors of course, he did love his curling. You will certainly miss your Dad as he was such a huge part of your lives for so long, such a kind, caring man. I always have fond memories of you Kathleen, and the good ol days of St. George's school. Take care and regards to your Mum and hope she is holding up. Hugs

We would extend our sympathies to Aunt Kay and all of my cousins and their families. Steve was my favourite Uncle. He was an intelligent, kind and thoughtful gentleman. He and Aunt Kay opened their doors to our family when we visited Ottawa and did the same when Uncle Joe and Aunt Bunny (and family) traveled east from Regina. His superior ability in curling is a testament to his athletic prowess and knowledge of the game. And to curl until the age of 93 is inspiring. We will miss Uncle Steve but have very pleasant memories of our visits especially at the cottage on the Ottawa River in 1967!
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Brian Kot and Jane Rooney

On behalf of the retirees of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, I extend heartfelt condolences to Kathleen and to the rest of the family.
I feel that I knew him fairly well. We were both from Saskatchewan.
Steve attended our annual retirees luncheon from 1991 to 2018, except for the year 1998. The included picture (taken in 1967) shows Steve and his colleagues in Section M7 of the Patent Office.
Rest in peace my friend.
