MURPHY, Francis (Frank) James Robert
1923 - 2014
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 15, 2014 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Helen Murphy. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Alma Murphy. Cherished and devoted father of Mike (Mary Jane) and the late Ken (Adi) Murphy. Loving grandfather of Glenn (Sue), Doug (Tracy Atto), Brad (Michelle Craig), Jesse (Toni Martin), and Lisa (Pascal Meunier). Great-grandfather of Carter, Brooke, Connor, Morgan, Taylor, Cody, Martin and Jorja. Dearly loved brother of Rita Lefebvre (Hector Gauthier), Charlotte (Vern Hawka), Roger (Helen), late Ray (late Alice), late Theresa (late Mac McPherson), and late Anita (late René Rocheleau). Dear brother-in- law to Pat Carr (Earl) and the late Connie Strang (late Clayton), late Bill Robins (Sylvia) and the late Betty Reen (late Mike). Frank will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Frank was a World War II veteran and will be fondly remembered as a devoted, supportive family man who was caring, kind and hardworking. The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to all the doctors, nurses and support staff in the intensive care unit of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for all of their wonderful support, compassion and very best efforts to help Frank. Family and friends are invited to visit at the O'Dacre Funeral Home, 15 Victoria Street in Perth on Saturday, July 19 from 10 a.m.to 1:45 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. In Frank's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County or the .
