SULLY, Albert (Bert) Edward
(WWII Veteran)
'Bert' Sully, of Wakefield, Quebec, passed away on December 31, 2012 with his family by his side. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Judith Dunne of Wakefield, QC, his grandsons Christopher Dunne of Vancouver, BC and Patrick Dunne of Wakefield, QC, his sisters Elaine Moffatt and Betty Symons of Wakefield, QC, his brother Lloyd of New Zealand and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Cecil Sully and Sarah Crerar, Judith's mother Theresa McCrank and Mary Dobson and Vivian Desmarais, his sisters Vera Pitcairn and Norma Brown and his brother Keith Sully. Bert was born in Grand Prairie, Alberta, April 6, 1923. He served in the RCAF as a Lancaster wireless operator, was an avid fisherman and was highly regarded in the construction industry. Friends will be received 10-12 on Sunday, January 6th at McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Drive, Wakefield, QC. A memorial service will follow at 12. Memorial donations may be given to the Des Collines Health Foundation, Box 118, Wakefield, QC, J0X 3G0.
