WHITELY, Tony (Anthony) Thomas October 10, 1931-May 22, 2018 Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the age of 86 with his family by his side. Loving Father to Dawn Whitely-Fortin (Joe Reynolds), Ann Whitely-Gillen (Doug Gillen), Theresa Whitely (Phil Dwyer) and Bridget Whitely. Wonderful grandfather to Dylan and Justin Fortin; Cody Ann, Arianne, Eric and Ava Gillen; Madeleine and Benjamin Dwyer. Precious uncle to the Ogilvie children (Janet, Susan, Ellen, and David). Loyal brother to Patrick Whitely. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Hacker and Dr. Michael Hartwick for their dedication to palliative care. An evening Celebration of Life will be held on: Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., at the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa, 30 Cleary Ave, Ottawa, ON (613) 725-1066. Our father believed in helping people in need and fought for human rights.
