FUOCO, Antonio Lester "Tony"
February 26, 1935 - February 17, 2013
We are so thankful for the rich life that has been given and that Tony is at peace after a valiant fight against cancer. Heaven is blessed with your return - "FORE"! May you help us from heaven as you always did on earth. "Husband" the love of Catherine's life! Is and will always be everything to her! "Dad" hero and role model to children Karen, John, Christopher and Mary-Louise and of course to their partners whom he always shared all he could and gave them the world. "Uncle Noni" to so many nieces and nephews to whom he gave so much time, particularly the Hogan kids. "Grampy" to 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild for whom he always had love, fun and hugs. "Brother Sonny" to Steve, Bill, Peter, Paul and Nancy and their partners and all of the Pender family. "Buddy & Pal" of dear Bob, Tony, Bob E, Ray, Ed, John, Ellen and so many more in the community at Beckwith Golf Course. "Builder" as coach, president, convener, treasurer, ice allocator for so many years and so many families in Pinecrest Hockey, Pinecrest Baseball, Girls hockey in Ottawa, Ottawa Minor Football. Canada's modern greatness was built by people like Tony. "Neighbour" to the Williams', Barclays, and so many others for 50+ years. "Friend" and co-worker to so many at Canada Post. "Repair Guy" to so many that needed an odd job done. A life that ended sooner than we wanted, but a life lived so well. Tony will always be in our hearts, and his lessons and love will be with us forever! A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by a reception. All are welcome.
