Suddenly at home on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Vanden Bosch. Dear mother of Dick (Karen Hausch), Ken (deceased) (Dawn), Virginia (Bob Hudgins), Paul, Joanne (Andy Plummer), Marilyn, Glenna (Brian Ramsdale), and Mike (Michelle). Loving grandmother of Megan, Alexis, Katlyn, Erica, Adrienne, Jesse, William, Ben, Emily, Theo, Noah and Ethan. Sister of Nan Acres (Allan). Predeceased by her sister Camilla Collins. Cherished companion of Jake Regehr. Claire graduated from Kingston General Hospital in 1948. Her nursing career spanned 7 decades beginning at the Civic Hospital. For the past 40 years she specialized in geriatric care both privately and at Carleton Lodge. Her deep compassion for others has touched many lives. Friends may call at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars (East of Hwy 416) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Manotick United Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation, 620 Colborne St., Suite 301, London, ON N6B 3R9; the Brain Injury (Ottawa Valley), 211 Bronson Ave. Suite 300A, Ottawa, ON K1Y 6H5 or Manotick United Church, P.O.
