ANGELL, D. Melba
Retired Bell Canada Executive
Peacefully at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital on November 14, 2012. Loving daughter of the late Stanley and Blanche Angell. Born in Halifax, raised in Montreal and retired in Ottawa. Late resident at The Ravines Retirement Home. Long time volunteer at the Museum of Nature and The Kidney Foundation. Fondly remembered by friends Dorothy White, Ian and Heather Macdonald, Pauline Lefebvre, Andy and Sandy Siggner, Paul and Karen Hamilton, Dorothy Allard, Donna Kricorissian, and their families. Also remembered by her many friends from the Museum and Bell Canada where she worked for more than 30 years. At Melba's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in the family plot in Montreal at a later date. Donations may be made in Melba's memory to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Ottawa Chapter of the Kidney Foundation. Many thanks to the staff at the Ravines for their kindness to Melba.
