Debbie lived an active life; enjoyed many forms of sport and was a stalwart SENS' supporter. Besides her family, she held good friends close to her heart and always enjoyed their company.
Employed in the office of Canterbury High School, Debbie fully enjoyed her work and too, the comradeship of the entire staff. To Cindy Taylor, teachers and staff, a heartfelt thanks for the sound support given Debbie and family over the course of these past difficult times.
Thanks also to the doctors and staff of the Cancer Clinic and Palliative Care Unit of Ottawa General who, over many months of treatment, attempted to preserve and make her life more bearable under such trying circumstances. Last but not least, the family wishes to thank the nursing staff, social workers and volunteers of May Court Hospice, for the professional and intensive care given Debbie whilst in their most capable hands.
Abiding by Debbie's wishes, she has been cremated and a "celebration of life" function has been arranged. This event will take place at the Greely Legion, Mitch Owens Road, on Saturday, October 27th, commencing at 4 PM. All family and friends are invited.
If so desired, donations in honour of Debbie can be made to: the May Court Hospice, 114 Cameron Avenue, K1S 0X1; or a Charity of your choice .
"We luv you Deb! Always have, always will."
