Peacefully at Marianhill Residence, Pembroke on Sunday afternoon October 28, 2012 with his loving family at his side at the age of 86 years. Dennis LaBine of Pembroke, beloved husband of Marie LaBine (nee Plouffe). Loved and cherished father of Leo LaBine (Patricia), Sacramento Calif., Patricia Spink (Dr. Don), Peterborough, Brian LaBine (Patricia), Pembroke, Michael LaBine (Sandra) Kimberley, BC, Gary LaBine, Toronto, Mary de van der Schueren (Michael), Stittsville and Catherine Kenny (Bernie) Allumette Island. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Predeceased by his grandson Alex. Dear brother of Nora Walsh, North Bay and predeceased by his sister Theresa Truchon and brothers John, Paul and Leo LaBine and his parents John and Nora (nee Horan) LaBine. Dennis will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dennis with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday. (Members of the K of C, Bishop Lorrain Council will meet at the Funeral Home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.) A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning November 1st at 11 o'clock in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdesview Drive Pembroke. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery. In memory of Dennis, donations to Marianhill Foundation or The P.M.D. Foundation would be appreciated.
