RYBACK, Diana Eleanor (Lawson)
February 6, 1942 - August 17, 2013
Following an evening of fun, life, and laughter among good friends and family, Diana passed away peacefully in the early morning of August 17, 2013 at Sundridge, Ontario at the age of 71. Born to the late John Osborne ("Ozzie") and the late Jessie Eleanor ("Tink") Lawson in Ottawa on February 6, 1942 she is also predeceased by her sister Catherine Boyes. Mourning her loss are her four children Bruce Morrison (Lise), Deborah Morrison, Gillian Seymour (Tracy), and Jennifer DiMarco (Filippo); grandchildren Jessie Morrison (Marc Pinault), Thomas Morrison, Catherine Morrison, and Palmarino and Isabella DiMarco; cherished niece Ali Boyes, and her trusted canine companion Hadley. Also mourning her passing are great Uncle Tim Kenny (Audrey), stepbrothers John, Patrick (Deidre), Bill, and Rick Dare along with a vast circle of family - real and "Diana decreed" - whom she touched with her humour, strength, boundless energy and generosity. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair, and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) Ottawa on Monday, August 26 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. A celebration of her life will also take place in Winnipeg the week of September 9, 2013. While Diana wished only that you take a glass of your favourite libation to toast her, those wishing to make a donation to honour her memory are asked to consider the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, , Autism Ontario, Canada's History Society, and the Canadian War Museum's Operation Veteran.
