So sorry. My father, Don Coates, enjoyed many tennis games with Don Gilchrist, both as opponent in singles and together with him in veterans' competitions. I have a great photo of the team taken at the Rideau Tennis Club after one of those games. Condolences to the family.

To Christianne and family. Our deepest and sincerest sympathies to you and your family. Donald was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I truly enjoyed his stories, especially those involving skating, the guidance he provided during my presidency. He was so highly respected by all who knew him.
He will be missed.
Most Sincerely, Betty Bouma
