JOHNSTON (FONG), Edward David
The Guest Book is expired.
Ed, 76, of Nepean, Ontario, a much-loved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 23, 2012. Ed is lovingly remembered by so many, but especially his wife of 22 years, Trudy Zimmerly, his three children Anne Adkins (Matthew), David and Julie, Trudy's three children David (Claire), Bill (Claudette) and Christine Hauschild (Tom) and grandchildren Julien, Eric, Ayla, Kathleen, Michael and Emeline, as well as his sister Kay and aunt Doris. He was preceded in death by his first wife Alice, his parents Harry and Mable, and his aunts Mary, Lillian and Louise. Ed will also be missed by their Bichon Molly. Born in Brockville, Ontario on December 30, 1935, Ed enjoyed a long career at Bell Northern Research, retiring after 23 years. His passion for computers kept him working as a technologist at Northern Micro until earlier this month - but Ed also enjoyed his 'part-time retirement' with family and theatre while also working tirelessly with Trudy for the Liberal party. Friends may pay their respects at
