I am so sad to hear of Gil's passing. I have many happy memories of Gil at the cottage at Lake Ferguson. I enjoyed being around him because he was so much fun. My thoughts and prayers are with Laurie, Syd and Cathy and their loved ones.

My condolences to you Laurie, your family and their families. Gil was a wonderful person. He loved life, and I remember how much he liked the song "St. Louis Blues. I remember good times at the "Cottage" and good times at Laurie's parents' home,when we all played cards on a Sunday nite. I remember good times at the "Ham" Club dances. May he rest in peace.
