ARNOTT, Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Passed away in hospital with her family by her side after a 23 year battle with Cancer on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Liz is the beloved wife for 48 years to Stewart Arnott. Devoted and loving mother to Cheryl Arnott and Lisa Fridgen (Travis). Dear Grandma to Sadie and Sydney Boissoneault and Cailyn, Carter, Colton and Chloe Fridgen. Remembered by her sisters Fay Farmer (Denny-deceased), Marilyn Bell (Lee), and brother Daryl Barstead (Ann). Liz was the daughter of the late Iva and Stanley Barstead. Predeceased by her sister Gail Flegg. She will be missed by many many dear friends, especially Marilyn Lockwood, Nelda Styles, Marilyn Sutherland and Nancy and Ivan Barron and by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Roxanne John from the West End Family Medical Center, Dr. Stan Gertler, Nurse Tina, Dr. Lisa Fischer, Nurse Shannon and Dr. Cross and all the nurses and doctors at the Queensway Carleton Cancer Centre. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa). A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the Pinecrest Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at Pinecrest. Interment at a later date.
