COPITHORN, Elizabeth Louise "Betty"
December 5, 1921 - September 25, 2013
Passed away from complications due to a broken leg. Predeceased by her husband William Copithorn, her parents Andrew and Florence Devine, brother Hugh Devine (Martha Jean Gardiner), sister Fern (Karl Kennedy). Survived by sons Ric and Gerry, granddaughter Kim and great-granddaughter Shannon. She will be missed by many relatives and friends. The Copithorn family would like to thank the nurses of Orthopedic Ward 6NE of the Ottawa General Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Munroe and her team and also to social worker Cheryl Edwards. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday after 9:30 am. A Service of the members of the Eastern Star will be held on Monday at 10:30, followed by the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Donations can be made to the or to any organization in Betty's name.
