PARKS, Florence "Flo" Mary
(nee Wheeler)
Survived by husband George, dear children Larry (Brenda), Shelly (Mario) and grandchildren Stephen, Abigail and Cameryn who were her love, pride and joy. Sister of Donelda Edgerton, Aurea Chambers and the late Des, Raymond, Dwayne, Gerald, Manly, Irene Gaudry and Joan Lenahan. Flo will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her friends (too many to list). The laughter and good times were always close to her heart. Born and raised on a dairy farm in Chesterville, ON. Flo often spoke about how blessed she and her nine siblings were to have been loved so dearly by their wonderful parents, Ed and Annie Wheeler of Chesterville, ON. Flo enjoyed a career at Civil Service Co-op. Her passion for the trailer at Baskin's Beach Campground made her a favorite summer resident. Her infectious laughter and friendly competitive spirit will be sadly missed around the card table. Her family wish to thank the Ottawa Carleton Dialysis Clinic (Baseline Road), the Ottawa General Hospital nursing staff of the 7th floor and "Dr. Trev" for their compassion and care. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or . A Mass in Memory of Flo will be held at St. Basil's Church, 940 Rex Avenue on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 10:00 am.
