Jean-Jacques Paradis

PARADIS, Jean-Jacques LGen Ret'd C.M.M., O.St.J., C.D., B.A. Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at the Ottawa Civic Campus on Friday, August 31, 2007 at age 78. He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years Margaret (Margo Gosselin), his beloved children Dominique and Marguerite (Christian Girard), his grandchildren Elizabeth and Marc. He was a veteran of the Korean war (1950-1952) and served in the forces for over 30 years with The Royal 22nd Regiment. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Remi Roman Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Avenue, Nepean on Tuesday, September 4, at 2 p.m. Respectfully, in lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Riverside Dialysis Unit and, in the final months, the doctors and nurses at the Civic Campus.
