Passed away peacefully at the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on June 26th, 2013. Predeceased by his wife Betty Jamieson (nee Clunie). Much loved Dad of Duncan (Janice) and Judy (Denis). Treasured 'Pappy' to Gregory (Danielle), Trevor, Michelle (Andrew) Chelsea (Shane), Alex, Colin. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Jean Jamieson and sisters Annie and Ruth. Predeceased by his special companion, Joan Denault. Born in LaTuque, Quebec and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942. He was exceptionally proud of his service in Burma and Ceylon during WWII. An active member of the Wing, and the Burma Star, he commanded colour parties and laid many wreaths over the years. He was passionate about playing hockey in his younger years and cheering his grandchildren on in recent years. Dad was also proud of serving his country a second time, when he carried the Olympic torch between Ontario and Quebec on December 12, 2009. Friends may pay respects at the

on Tuesday, July 2nd after 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in dad's memory, to the Rideau & Perley Veterans' Health Centre or a charity of your choice.
