Sister Margaret Pelletier of Peterborough, Ontario died suddenly in hospital
November 26, 2012 following a massive heart attack. Sister Margaret belonged to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She was born in Hull, Quebec of predeceased parents Margaret (Maggie) Langill and Emery Pelletier and was preceded in death by her sister Anne, her brothers Clifford and Brian, her sister-in-law Claire, and brother-in-law Gilbert. Sister Margaret was a wonderful and truly unique woman who touched so many lives in her role as teacher, principal, counselor and chaplain but more importantly as a friend. She will be sadly missed by her Congregation of Sisters, her family and her many friends. Sister Margaret is survived by her brothers John (Jack), George (Lanny) and Terry and sisters-in-law Dorothy, Edwige and Johanne: her nieces Katherine, Julie, Lynne, Karen, Tammy, Nicole and Valerie; her nephews Jeff, Kevin, Dale and Richard and several grand nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Sunday, December 2nd at Mount St. Joseph, 1555 Monaghan Road, Peterborough. Funeral Mass for Christian Burial will also take place at Mount St. Joseph on Monday, December 3rd at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated at the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica in Ottawa on Thursday, December 6 at 2:30. Following the Mass you may extend condolences to family members in the Parish Hall.
