BERGERON, Marie It is with regret that we inform you of the passing of Marie Bergeron on February 27, 2018. She leaves behind her mother Marcelle Vandry, her sister Julie (Steve Farnham), her brother Pierre (Jacqueline Michaud), her sister-in-law Brigitte Fournier (late André) and her nieces and nephews Carolane, Ariane, Isabelle and Sébastien as well as her uncle Claude Bergeron. She was predeceased by her father Marc Bergeron and her brother André. She also leaves many friends and colleagues whom she met during her 33 years of service with the Government of Canada, including about 15 as a senior executive. She began her career at the Translation Bureau and completed it at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada. Marie volunteered for many years with various organizations such as the United Way Movement, La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie, the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX) and the National Association of Federal Retirees. Memorial donations may be made to the or to La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie. The family would like to thank Guylaine Therrien of the Palliative Care at the Hull Hospital. A celebration of Marie's life will take place on April 7, 2018 at the Château Monsarrat, 100, rue du Château, Gatineau (Hull sector) from 2 to 5 p.m. The interment will take place later in Quebec City in the presence of the family.
