BROWNRIGG, Michael Harold Peacefully at the Garry Armstrong Long-Term Care Centre on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the age of 92. Beloved husband for 66 years of Evelyn (Morris). Survived by his sister Dorothy, his children Wayne (Carol), Dennis (late Norma), Elaine Walsh (Peter) and Gary (Johanne), and by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter Maureen (Dave Cheshire), his brother Clarence and sisters Muriel, Irene, Mildred and Frances. Harold was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1939 - 1967 and worked for the RCMP from 1968 - 1978. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5558 and an active parishioner of St. Ignatius Martyr Church. Special thanks to the dedicated staff at the Garry Armstrong Long Term Care Centre. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Sunday, January 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 518 Donald Street, Ottawa on Monday, January 14 at 10 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CNIB.
