MONCION, Omer
Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in his 90th year. Omer Moncion of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Reina Moncion (nee Dagenais). Loving father of Denis (Debora Lapierre) of Pembroke, Pauline (Albert Dagenais) of Saint-Sauveur, Marielle (Michel Stewart) of Québec City, André, Gilles (Christine Marcotte), Pierre (Colleen Kruger), Jean-Baptiste (Ashley Scheuneman) and Sylvianne (Richard Duff), all of Pembroke. Caring grandfather of Yanna (Mark Bilton), Denika (Gianpiero Angelone), Jean-Marc (fiance Jamie Glendinning), Mylène (Patrick Barbeau), Jean- François, Andrée-Anne (Ahmed Belouadia), Amélie (Daniel Caron), Bradley (Ena Music), Mathieu (Amanda McDowell), Thomas (Stephanie Prince), Danielle, Alexandre, Samuel and Nicole. He is survived by his sister Lucille Hotte, and his brothers Henri and Guy. Predeceased by parents Jean-Baptiste and Alexina Moncion (nee Martel), by brothers Roger and Jean-Paul, and by sisters Marguerite Couture and Adrienne Leblanc. He will be fondly remembered by eleven great- grandchildren, many relatives and friends. Visitation at the

on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 and Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint- Jean-Baptiste Church, Pembroke on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
