Dear Paul, I your spouse, Éliane Leroux, wish to thank you for 35 wonderful years spent together. You departed on January 10, 2013 at the age of 80 to join those you've loved: your mother Berthe Brousseau; your father Léo Trudel, and your first spouse, Huguette Beauséjour. Your six children will mourn you: France (Léo-Paul Patenaude), Jacques (Sylvie Jolicoeur), Pierre, Roger (Theresa Drody), Marguerite (Maggie) (Jerome Maggiore) and Monique (Robert Armstead); as well as your fifteen grandchildren: Mélanie and Marc Parenteau; Joanne and Daniel Trudel; Léo, Maxime and Geneviève Trudel; Matthieu and Fani Trudel; Véronique, Carina and Gianmarco Maggiore; Roseanne and Paul Campeau; and Alexander Armstead. Your stepchildren will also miss you: Constance Lefebvre (Monty), Lise Lefebvre (Paul Simard), Claude Lefebvre (Lori Fage), Hélène Lefebvre (Michel Mainville) and Sylvie Lefebvre (Richard McGovern). You also leave your step-grandchildren: Eric Lefebvre; Daniel and Julien Simard; Deana and Lisa Lefebvre; Jovan, Danik and Joel Dozet; and Karolyn and Cloé McGovern. Your brother Jacques (Annette Leblanc), your sisters Jeannine (Gerald Riopelle) and Madeleine (Robert Villeneuve), your brother in-law Léo Beauséjour (Jeannine Lapierre) and several nieces and nephews will mourn you as well. Paul taught science at Eastview and Hillcrest high schools and as of 1969, at the Faculty of Education of Ottawa University. He was also secretary of the Faculty for many years. He was implicated in many Franco-Ontarian committees and associations. As well, he volunteered in many catholic and parish-led activities. The family wishes to thank the Centre d'accueil Champlain for the care and devotion to Paul during his over three year stay. In lieu of flowers, donations to the following charities are welcome: l'Association des auxiliaires du Centre d'accueil Champlain, Alzheimer Society of Canada and/or Parkinson Society of Canada. The family will receive condolences from family and friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St-Joseph Blvd, in Orléans on Friday, January 18th from 5pm to 8pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 19th at 1pm St-Joseph d'Orléans Church, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd, Orléans. Condolences may be made at: www.heritagefh.ca
