It is with great sadness that the Gauthier family announces the sudden passing of Raymond D. Gauthier, who died July 29th, 2012 at the age 78, at his new residence at the Village Riviera in Gatineau, Québec. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmen Martin, the devoted father of Marie-Noël and caring grandfather of Miguel Bouchard. Son of the late Alice St-Père and of the late Stanislas Gauthier, he was predeceased by two brothers and one sister: Camille, Laurent (Alma Major) and Doris as he leaves behind: Normand (Audette Leclair), Simone (Philip Finkle), Auguste (Anne Bertrand), Marcel (Jeannine Poirier), Thérèse, Diane (Aimé Pelletier), Fern (Jacques Pigeon) and Denis (Diane Sikatowsky). He also leaves to mourn nieces and nephews, cousins and many faithful friends such as Pierre Massie (Monique Gauthier), Guy Morrissette (Marie- Thérèse Cayen), Jacques Dostaler (Ann Robinson), Denis Bouchard (the late Céline Migneault), Ted Beauparlant (Claudette Gatien), Jean Prevost (Cécile Bourdages) and Suzanne Bertin who stood by him and offered him so generously their unconditional support throughout his fight against Parkinson disease. The family will be pleased to receive your condolences at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A memorial service will then take place at 11 a.m. in the Heritage Chapel followed by a light snack.
