MIDDLEMISS, Mr. Robert Passed away on May 28, 2010, at the age of 75. Son of the late feu William Middlemiss and the late Imelda Cardinal. Beloved husband of Lorraine St-Louis. Father of Brian (Francine Ladouceur), Perry (Elizabeth DaPonte), Bruce (Andree Lepine) and Diane (Jacques Leveillee). Dear grandfather of Shawn, Tina, Jessica, Tessa Marie, Lindsay, Spencer, Kevin, Cynthia-Ann, Ashley, Ryan, Claudiane and Karl. Great grandfather of Dylan, Maddox and Ashlyn. Brother of Shirley. Brother-in-law of Pierrette (Romeo Quesnel), Jeanine (Late Martin Renaud) and Helene (Late Real Fauvelle). He will also be missed by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his two sons Karl and Robert Jr. Robert was a graduate in Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. He was an Engineer advisor in Geotechnics and partner in McRostie, Genest and Middlemiss Ltee. Futhermore, he was member of the Aylmer City Hall council from 1970 to 1979 and MNA for Pontiac riding at the Quebec National Assembly from 1981 to 2003. Some of the responsibilities were Minister, Delegate Minister and Parlementary Secretary. A religious service will held on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 245 St. Joseph Blvd, Gatineau (Hull), Qc. The family will receive condolences at the church from 10:15 a.m. In memory of Robert, donations to la Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie and the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated.
