LAMBRINOS, Tassia
(nee Anastasakos)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27th at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her sons Andy and Nick. Survived by her loving husband Athanasios "Tom" Lambrinos and son Peter Lambrinos (Diana), and beloved grandchildren Thano, Anna and Sasha. Will also be dearly missed by her sister Falia "Fay" Papadakos (Kosta "Gus"), and brothers Tasso Anas (Litsa) and Angelo Anastasakos (Eva), and too many nieces and nephews to mention. Tassia was born in Dafni, Laconia, Greece on January 22nd, 1932. She was a wonderful wife of 57 years and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who put everybody's wants and needs above her own. She was a domestic goddess before her time (cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, cleaning, gardening, etc.). She loved to entertain, visit with family and friends and helped everyone who crossed her path. She was deeply loved by many and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 29th at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave.) 5 to 7 p.m. followed by Trisagion Prayer, and on Wednesday, January 30th at Kimissis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church (1315 Prince of Wales Drive) from 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with Funeral Service to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hellenic Community of Ottawa (Greek Orthodox Church) as per Tassia's wishes
