December 7, 1930 – December 24, 2012
Passed away peacefully at 82, surrounded by his family. A passionate architect, engineer, artist and musician, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Leeda, by his children Lenka (Peter), Vaz (Karen), Jan (Kathryn), and grandchildren Jason, Natasha, Zak, Jazmin and Kamila. Also survived by his sister Vera and extended family in the Czech Republic. A special thanks to the exceptional, caring staff on C4 of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Maurice Catholic Church, 4 Perry Street, at Meadowlands Dr. W, Ottawa.
