William KENNEY Obituary
Peacefully at the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on Monday, June 24th, 2013 at the age of 83. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret (nee Cox). Loving father of Ramona (Maurice Belcourt), Colette (Peter Dooher), the late Sandra and Greg (Stacey Harper). Cherished grandfather of Veronica, Josée, Renée, Jackson and Greyson. Dear brother of Brendan (Frances), Agnes, Dorothy, Beatrice (Rod Fillier), Ray (Elizabeth), Don (Joan), Mary (late Marc Lafrance) and Imelda (Brian Taylor). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, 5958 Eighth Line, Carlsbad Springs on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre or to the Prostate Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

To the Kenney family,
I knew Bill quite well back in the latter years of the 1970s and early 1980s at which time he was the head librarian in the JAG library. I got to know Bill quite well and he was always of considerable assistance in any research I needed to have done on any cases I was working on or on legal opinions I was preparing. He was a very conscientious and hardworking individual who earned the respect of all of the JAG lawyers at that time. I was saddened to learn of his passing and extend my condolences to all of you.
