COMBE, William Charles (Bill)
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of William Charles (Bill) Combe in Ottawa on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the age of 81. Son of the late Ann Combe and William Combe Sr. Dearly beloved husband, soulmate and best friend of Beverley (nee Grattan). Loving father of Nancy Logan (Peter), Susan DeWitt (Earl), and loving stepfather of Donna Morris (Steve Malboeuf), Lori Morris (Mark Lague) and Dale Morris. Cherished grandfather of Crystal, Tim, Jeff, A.J., Kaitlyn, Taylor, Sheldon, Ethan, Stefi, Anna, Lily and Luca, and great- grandfather of Anakin and Hunter. Survived by his sister Evelyn Fox (the late Robert) and brother David. Predeceased by his sister Nell Loewen (the late Randy). Dedicated career man at Atlas Alloys Inc. for 42 years. He taught us all that love is an action. He will be tending God's gardens now. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Road, on Tuesday, June 17 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, 1489 Shea Rd., Stittsville, on Wednesday, June 18 at 2:30 PM. The family would like to thank the staff at Granite Ridge Long Term Care Home for their wonderful care and compassion Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Parkinson Society Canada.
