LAMOTHE, Normand M.
Suddenly at home, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Deborah (née Blais). Survived by his cherished son, Miguel (Éléa Béchade). Predeceased by his treasured grandson, Grayson. Dear son of Aurèle and Agnès Lamothe of Sudbury, and much loved son-in-law of Norman and Irène Blais of Orleans. Devoted brother of Nicole Lavictoire (Léo), Denise Giroux (Denis), Denis (Johanne Marcil) and Jocelyne Lamothe. Special brother-in-law of Monique Blais, Normand Blais (Cécile Barette) and Charlene Blais. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews and his two Godchildren, Philippe and Caroline. Fondly remembered by Deborah's great-grandmother, Jeanne d'Arc Beaulieu aged 103 years. Norm's unconditional kindness, gentleness and warm hugs will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 7- 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in memory of Norm to Roger's House or D.I.F.D, Do It For Daron, Royal Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
