LAFRAMBOISE, Peter Alfred Peacefully Saturday, March 19, 2011 at age 61. Cherished companion of Cathy Leblanc. Loved father of Jamie (of Pickering) and Josh (of London). Grandfather of Landon (of Pickering). Survived by his mother Edith and brother Barry (both of Ottawa) and sister Debbie Osborne-Lamoureaux (of Spanish, Ontario). Uncle of John Osborne and Tammy Cowle. Pete was loved, and will be greatly missed. Pete was a talented athlete, with a keen sense of humour and wit. He played hockey for the OHA Ottawa 67's from 1967-1970. Pete was drafted by the NHL California Golden Seals in 1970 and retired from professional hockey in 1979. His hockey highlight moment was January 3rd, 1973 when he scored 4 goals against the Vancouver Canucks. In 1988, Peter founded Rideau Mailing Services in Ottawa. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave. (west of Carlingwood) Thursday, March 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Memory of Pete will be held Friday, March 25 in the Chapel at 1 p.m.
